Power supply rack
|
The power supply rack consists of an AC power line terminal, SYSTEM READY output terminal and monitors input voltage (AC). Depending on the intended use, up to 5 Compact PCI compliant modules can be used as option cards.

Main module
|
The main module is equipped with an LED status indicator, a port for REJ’s device-to-device communication, two modular jacks for Ethernet, a USB port for communication with the PSC Terminal (REJ PSC series terminal software), and a slot for Compact Flash (CF) Memory Card that stores application programs.

DSP module
|
The DSP module for PSC7000 series can be used. For efficient signal processing, an embedded DSP outperforms general purpose processors for servo control applications.

SERCOS module
|
Same as the ones used in PSC7000 series. The SERCOS module enables synchronous communication with REJ’s VZ7000 series.
|
PG module
|
Same as the ones used in PSC7000 series. Compact PSC can be equipped with maximum of 2 PG modules. Each PG module can control up to 5 motors. Each motor is equipped with PG (pulse generator) input and analog output circuits.

CDIO module
|
It is a digital I/O card to control input and output sequence signals and parallel data of Compact PSC.

CAIO module (Currently under development, scheduled to be released in 2018)
|
It is a module that is equipped with analog input / output circuits.

Up to 10 axes per rack can be simultaneously controlled at high speed when PG input and analog output are enabled.

Compact PSC comes standard with DCS network for communication with Drive Multi series.

Compact Flash (CF) memory card
|
CF memory cards that give high-speed data transfer and high-capacity storage are adopted as removable recording media for application programs.

Space-saving design
|
Compact PSC can reduce the total installation area of the space required for PSC7000 series (4-slot backplate) by 30%.
The device-to-device communication that required an option card for PSC7000 series comes standard with the main module of Compact PSC.

Supporting field networks

SLMP (MELSEC communication protocol) is provided as standard for communication with Mitsubishi PLC and touch panel.
